Location of Porta Materna
Bordering on Tuscany, and dominated by the Apennine mountains, the amazing countryside of Umbria has led it to be known as the Green Heart of Italy. Porta Materna is situated in the hills just a few kilometres to the south of Lake Trasimeno, the third largest lake in Italy, between the towns of Perugia and Citta della Pieve.
